The Science and Business Management (SBM) department formally known as General Studies (GS) Department offers to all other departments a wide spectrum of Science modules in Mathematics, Entrepreneurship and Development, Physical Sciences Communication Skills. All modules are conducted in a semester system. Apart from providing support to other departments The SBM department also offers the following programs: Ordinary Diploma in Business Administration Ordinary Diploma in Laboratory Technology Bachelor of Business Administration Objectives of Science and Business Management Department Science and Business Management department conducts modules of general nature which cuts across all technical departments. The Intention of the department is to train students to think effectively about the interconnection of Science, Technology and Management. Emphasis is laid on learning the principles of problem solving leading to a technical solution, addressing communication in a variety of settings, critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills.
